Although Hawaii does not have coral reefs, this volcanic island is abundant with wild life. Scuba divers relish the opportunity to swim with pods of dolphins, reef sharks, turtles, and many more!
Molokai is known for shark diving but it is quite rare to see a tiger shark. While diving for hammerheads, this juvenile wanted to investigate what was making all of the noise. At least it moved on once it realized we were not food.
Pods of dolphin of this size are also rare but it is always remarkable to see how smoothly they glide through the water.
For those of you that are night divers, the Kona Manta Dive consistently ranks in the top 10 dive experiences in the world. Each night, dive charters take you to a known feeding spot and schools of manta come to you! An experience that is once in a lifetime.
